PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis to intervention. Evaluate effects of treatments at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefits. Discharge patients from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow up care or referrals. Supervises 2 physical therapy assistants and 1 physical therapy aide.

ORTHOPEDIC RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Job Site: Palmdale, CA branch.

 

Duties consist of:

-         Research and develop physical therapy training methods based on the needs of the patients.

-         Run statistically based analysis relating to orthopedics and physical therapy treatments to optimize results of patient care.

-         Develop and implement continuing education curriculum for the physical and occupational therapist at all our facilities.

-         Develop manual for orthopedic and therapy seminars for the instruction and training of personnel.

-         Research and present updated information to administrative committee on orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary & integumentary pathologies & conditions.

 

Additional requirements:

-         Minimum three years of experience in this field.

-         B.A. Degree required

-         Complete knowledge of Physical Therapy industry.

 

This is a full time position.

Salary: $41,454 per year.
